Automotive production sees year-on-year rise in China's Chongqing

As a major automotive manufacturing hub, Chongqing produced 1.659 million units in the first eight months of the year, up 7.6 percent year on year, while new energy vehicles (NEVs) production surged 31 percent to 690,000 units during the period.
